Loomis Chaffee, Gilchrist Auditorium (inside Clark Science Center)

ABOUT THE SESSION

At the most selective colleges, athletic ability can open conversations–but admission is still shaped by academic standards, institutional priorities, and how coaches and admissions offices work together. Many families hear fragments of information about “support,” “bands,” or “slots” without fully understanding how those pieces fit together.

In this session, we’ll clarify:

  • How admissions offices evaluate student-athletes at highly selective colleges

  • What coach support typically means…and what it does not guarantee

  • How academic expectations factor into final decisions

  • The difference between Division I and Division III admissions dynamics

  • How to pursue selective schools thoughtfully while keeping fit and long-term opportunity in view

You’ll leave with a clearer, more grounded understanding of how admission at the most selective colleges truly works.

As of June 4 lunch orders are closed. We'd love to have you join us, but if you sign up for this session after June 4, lunch will not be included.
